A general overview of the two parts of Catholics for Israel's online Bible course:
Can we get a good idea of who is the Jewish Messiah from the Old Testament and the Jewish writings? Study the messianic prophecies of the Old Testament in the light of Jewish apocryphal literature, the Aramaic targums, the Midrash, the Talmud, medieval Jewish Bible commentators, and the Zohar.
Do you sometimes feel like there is something missing to your faith? Do you have a desire of becoming a part of the Church that Jesus originally founded? What does it mean to be "Catholic"? What does the Catholic Church have to offer that cannot be found in any other denomination? What are ten (plus one) good reasons for being or becoming a Catholic?
Why do we need Jesus? God created us to share in His divine life and love, but sin has broken our communion with Him. Jesus came to reconcile us to the Father. He established the Catholic Church to continue His saving work and, through her sacraments, to impart His forgiveness, salvation, and eternal life.
